Getting drunk by 6:30 on a Friday
Trying to make sure my shoes are tied
Diapers got picked up off the floor
And are in the trash
My wife telling me about her 23 & me dna
My baby is in the bathtub
Listening to lil peep, playing monopoly
Trying to figure out if it's time for whiskey, or if I should give it awhile
Broadway can wait it out for a couple of days
I'll be back on the Lords day
A few sins won't keep me away

Saturday blooms with the rain
It's time for a perfect family day
Going outside is like Disney world for my daughters small 2 year old brain
We got her a play pin
And a slide inherited from my brother-in-law
Sometimes family can be the greatest thing
Sitting outside with some tunes from the record player
With the door open
The bass gets diluted through the floor boards
We are still having fun just being outdoors
Watching my baby girl play
I can count my blessings two handedly
