No I can't listen to rap music
To me it sounds like a bunch of noise
Sometimes I hear it in cars booming

But i'd settle for that old bass guitar
My son and my daughter listen to it
I guess I can't quite get into it
I'd rather be singing next to an acoustic
I guess I'm just a country boy
Now don't get me wrong
I like the popular songs
And when I workout
I listen to trap
But I'm just jammin to the rhythm
While I do my 50 sit ups
But the lyrics I don't listen that
Cuz their either killin or their selling
Screwing women or their yelling
Smoking wacky tobacky
Telling stories bout the ghetto
Just a crazy bunch of fellows
Going through hard times
Who get a little bit depressing
In the scheme of their rhymes
But when I'm flipping through
The stations
Looking for some inspiration
I listen to it while I'm passing the time
But when I'm gassing up the dually
It just does something to me
