Small Journies

Take me on an expedition
When life was filled with superstition
Years meant something else to me
I never could've known what I was meant to be
How could I know

Hopefully I'm doing it right
You never really know until it's out of sight
And then one year later
When you're on the interstater
A song comes on and reminds you of a time
That you thought was greater
But it's really not
It was just a stepping stone
But it hit the spot
So that's why I do this and I always will
Life's small journeys
Are apart of the thrill

I've got a chamber full of times to look back on
I'm addicted like crack I reach out for em'
It's what makes life so special to me
Appreciate the present
It's what the past couldn't see

Hopefully I'm doing it right
You never really know until it's out of sight
And then one year later
When you're on the interstater
A song comes on and reminds you of a time
That you thought was greater
But it's really not
It was just a stepping stone
But it hit the spot
So that's why I do this and I always will
Life's small journey's
Are apart of the thrill
