This Mask

Sometimes I hide, to remain unknown
In a crowd of millions, I can still feel so alone
It's very easy to become my enemy
I take swings at all those so close, before they get to see
I'm so alone, I'm just so closed

This face I wear, won't let you see inside of me
You say it's crazy, but to me it's therapy
You'll never understand until you see what I can see
This mask I wear is my real face

Maybe I can't trust, maybe I can't let go
Maybe I just like my space inside my little hole
But it's not you, its always me
Building up my own defense, so I don't have to feel
I'm so alone, I'm just so closed

This face I wear, won't let you see inside of me
You say it's crazy, but to me it's therapy
You'll never understand until you see what I can see
This mask I wear is my real face

This face I wear, won't let you see inside of me
You say it's crazy, but to me it's therapy
You'll never understand until you see what I can see
This mask I wear is my real face
