Around The World - Live from State Theatre

Around the world, I've searched for you
I travelled on when hope was gone, to keep a rendezvous
I knew somewhere, sometime, somehow
You'd look at me, and I would see, the smile you're smiling now

It might have been in County Down
Or in New York, or Gay Paree or even London Town
No more will I go all around the world
For I have found my world in you

We arrived in Australia in January 1962
At a place called Outer Harbour, just past Port Adelaide
Sunny South Australia didn't live up to its name
The day we arrived it was bucketing down with rain
And it was about 100 degrees
And my mum and dad thought they'd died and gone to hell
Then they took us by coach, luxury coach to our accomodation
We were stayin' in a hostel, the accomodation ended up
It was a bit of corrugated iron bent over with a fuckin' door cut in it
And this is where we're gonna stay for the next few months. It wasn't good

It might have been in County Down
Or in New York, or Gay Paree or even London Town
No more will I go all around the world
For I have found my world in you
