When I asked for help, some turned away their heads!
They passed on by me just like I was dead!
They were in shock when you delivered me!
I hope and pray that now they can see!
You gave them every opportunity
to do good but they just would not heed!
They turned up their noses and were full of pride!
Some even resorted to telling lies!
But You sit on high, Lord, You see everything!
You are my redeeming Savior and my King!
And I knew if I would keep holding on
that You were gonna show them who was still on the throne!
