Clouds a Rollin

The morning light came creeping past the drapes not long withdrawn,
And we were sitting pretty on the sins of last night gone.
But I can hear the teardrops tracing tracks across your cheeks,
But there are words that we shall never speak.

The highs the lows they weave their tale across your furrowed brow,
There's little worries running riot around that fragile smile,
The singing lions are roaring as the rain comes pouring down,
And I just want to rest my tired eyes.

The sun has gone and that rain comes pouring down

We sat and watched the fallen leaves make boats upon the rain,
We watched them dance their merry race go straight down the drain,
But I could see my breath was spreading mist upon the pain,
And I just want rest my weary head.

The rain has gone but those clouds keep Rollin on.

We stood beneath those Rollin clouds and I began to see,
Whichever way the wind would blow this is how it'll be,
Now I am but one man I cry who will carry me,
And I just want to rest my tired legs.

The rain has gone but those clouds keep Rollin on
