Steve and Don - Live from State Theatre|spoken

Don Walker had written two songs, I think the first two songs he wrote for the band
One was a song called "Sorbonne Fender Chrome"
What the fuck does that mean?
The second song, was a song called "Cold Chisel"
Like the bands we liked, Deep Purple, Led Zepplin
Cold Chisel, yeah that's good, yeah that'll do, so that's it, we're Cold Chisel now, we're Chisels

The other thing, you know, Steve Prestwich had joined the band too
Playing drums, awesome, fantastic, right
Steve, in fact, you know, he came from Liverpool, and he lived in Elizabeth like me
But instead of being in gangs and fighting, Steve played music, wrote songs

So Steve and Don, many years later, wrote a song about going back to your hometown
This is a song that I've sang every night for 35 years, or more
Every time I sing it, I get knots in my stomach, and I feel a bit sick
Ah, because it just reminds me of rabbit
