Unfair Trial

The end has found me here
In sickness lost in silence
Everything looks crystal clear
As I await asylum
Brought forth before a judge
So guilty so defenseless
The crowd begins to hush
My trial now commences

I cannot myself defend
But I know how this is gonna end

The judge and the jury listen closely while
The one's who accuse me wear a crooked smile
In fire and fury all my sins compile
They speak out against me in a celestial trial

The man before you now
Will take his final stand
The witnesses speak out
It's clear that he'll be damned
Corrosive words and deeds
His thoughts are so repulsive
Ignore his desperate pleas
He will remain the culprit

Hold my tongue
Hold my breath
I'm just a man with nothing left

The judge and the jury listen closely while
The one's who accuse me wear a crooked smile
In fire and fury all my sins compile
They speak out against me in a celestial trial

Your honor he is innocent
I have paid the price to set him free

For by grace you have been saved through faith
For this is not your own doing
It is a gift from God
Not a result from works
So that no one may boast

The judge and the jury listen closely while
The one who defends me holds a loving smile
My sins fall beneath me adopted as your child
In an unfair trial unfair trial unfair trial
