Rage Against the Silence

Last night I wondered how fast birds fly
And the heights they can reach, defending their right
To breathe a purer air
No one says "That's not fair"
We realise where we are when that's just too far
And see the life the others live
The memories they build
While you here stand still
Shooting those birds to kill
Trophies of false wins

Once I was told wise people don't speak about facts
But it's ideas what their speeches never lack of
But sometimes I wish my brain couldn't fit the latter
In order not to see all of them say "It doesn't matter"
But it does in fact
(It does in fact)

The more you push it and the more it hurts
'Cause we should seek to reach those who
Care about us
And help all those
Who want to rage against the silence

The more you push it and the more it hurts
'Cause we should seek to reach those who
Care about us
And help all those
Who want to rage against the silence

To rage... Against... The silence
Who want... To rage... Against the silence
