Graveyard

I went to the graveyard
And to my fascination
Found it staring back

I tell you that I wasn't far
From all the machinations
And visions of the past

And they asked me
If I'd stay awhile
And take a seat
If I believed

So I gave them a wicked smile
It was well received
They gave me a glass
I didn't have to ask
It was mine

What a wonderful day to rise
And hold another sit in
So pour yourself a glass of wine
And let the demons
Sink back in

And deep in the graveyard
We sat around a fire
Of brimstone and ash

And Instruments were strung and wired
With meticulous ease
And virtuosity

And It broke like the roar of a lion
And rattled my bones
It broke my soul
The fiddles they played in the cold

What a wonderful day to rise
And hold another sit in
So pour yourself a glass of wine
And let the demons
Sink back in

What a wonderful day to rise
And hold another sit in
So pour yourself a glass of wine
And let the demons
Sink back in
