Sutyagin House

Let me prove my worth to you
Let me build a tower to the sky
A castle where we softly sleep
A house that stands until I die

It sways like douglas in the wind
Wooden boards laying all around
Archangels flying up above
While you lay sleeping safe and sound

But imprisonment and damage will prevail
As the flames engulf my pillow
In this home of which I've built from tooth and nail
The flames in my heart willow

And across the burning pile of ash
I gaze in reflection of my misfortune
September winds blowing at my back
My city leers at me in veiled distortion

Although they burned my kingdom to the ground
The flames in my heart grew
And if there are no remnants to be found
Just know that I did it all for you
