Sweet Whispers of the River

Red lips, blue dress
Drawing herself and she smells the success
She's sitting haunched over the drawing
Big ambitions, there's no time for any resting

Don't draw outside the lines, no scribbles allowed
Walking down the streets, happy and proud
People turn around, she kills it with that style
But then she notices; there's something with her smile

Jumps into the river
Lets it carry away her sins
Clean herself, baptize herself
And down the river she swims (But it leads to the ocean)
But the river leads to the ocean
And the ocean is too deep
Jumps into the river
And down the river she swims

New paper, a clean start
She will put alot of effort into this piece of art
So motivated, "This will be my best one!"
Even she knows; "Easier said than done"

Blonde hair, pretty waves
Walking down the streets, she slays
Slim waist - the perfect size
But then again she lacks the twinkle in her eyes

Jumps into the river
Lets it carry away her sins
Clean herself, baptize herself
And down the river she swims (But it leads to the ocean)
But the river leads to the ocean
And the ocean is too deep
Jumps into the river
And down the river she swims

(The sweet whispers of the river)
(And the river calls on her)
(The sweet whispers of the river)
(And the river calls on her)
(The sweet whispers of the river)
(And the river calls on her)

Jumps into the river (Jumps into the river)
Jumps into the river (The river ahh)
But the river leads to the ocean
And the ocean is too deep
(River ahh)
