Pens

She spiders her fingers not sure what to do
Forgive me I jump to one of my favorite parts
Let me start anew
I pull out several pens and arrange them
In such a way that completely displays I care not how they lay
Controlled chaos being my thang
She looks at them, and oh that look in her eye, she wants to change it
She wants to change, but she wont say it
It's not really broken, but to her, to her
Her mind aches to fix it
And I smile because it's so adorable
I don't know how else to capture this moments except to write it
Her hands move slightly forward and halt, she want to fix it, but she wont
I think she doesn't want to hurt my feelings or something like that
Or maybe she acosts it as being rude
And I, all I can do is take it all in and say
Fix it
She spiders her fingers not sure what to do
"It needs symmetry"
It's cute
"No that wont work"
And I know there were more words, but darling I don't remember
I just remember watching your fingers work
As your face expressed, the thoughts that turned as you laid pens to rest
Rest in an order that
In your mind was the best, this made the most sense
And it made my heart a mess
Cause at that moment it was wax and it melts when I take you in
"It doesn't really work cause these two are black"
She seems satisfied enough though
And as I always am, I am taken aback
Cause pens, mere pens, showed me another glimpse of this master craft
This woman who is beyond a shadow of a doubt, doubtlessly amazing to me
Every chance I get to see more than just exterior
My interior feels like it has felt the cool breeze in a warm sun
So I take a picture, this is what I do to
Capture the beauty
The beauty forever
Such a tale of beauty woven like a web
For I simply await what treasure she lets me glimpse next
Pens, mere pens show tiny details of a masterpiece
Pens, cause pens, this was a window that let me see
So every time I see pens
I think
She spiders her fingers not sure what to do
I'll always love pens
