Bellevue

Guess I'll start with I've been dying to tell you that Bellevue's never really been my thing
It's just pretty hard to talk out loud in such a public place
When all there is are dead old flowers and depressing little sayings
And to be honest, I don't even like driving by that place
Knowing you are better helps, but it never goes away
Just the thought of never hearing you say what's up again is enough to drive me nearly insane
But I promise some day I will surely learn to cope
With all of this, but for now I don't even wanna go

Guess I'll end with I've been dying to tell you that I'm learning life without your company
It's just really hard to deal with this and never ask for help
When all I have are dead, old memories and piss poor mental health
And to be honest, I don't even wanna think about that Spring
Knowing flowers never bloom, so you never see the real thing
Just the plastic and the red that stained your stone is not enough for me to ever wanna visit at all

And I sometimes feel guilty that I truly feel this way
I would love to come and talk but you're truly miles away
I would like to stay away just for awhile
Until I know that you are there and you can truly hear me out
And I'd like to think you truly would be proud of how Zacc and I turned out despite all the others saying
