Mystic Chain Park

Took a ride to Mystic Chain Park
It was really something in its prime
Kids in the '50s singing Doo Wop songs
Kids in the '90s moaning from drugs gone wrong
So wrong

Walked around Mystic Chain Park
Kicked the Coca-Cola sign hard
The dust rained all around me
It was then that I fell into a dream

Where do good parks go when they die?
Are there dead kids waiting on swings and slides?
Is it like ribbon-cutting day
Or the moment when the kids discovered video games?

Told a friend about Mystic Chain Park
So we drove the tall brown mountain grass
He looked out, said "That's it? Are you alright?"
I said, "I don't know"
