Day 1

The Sun shines in my eyes
The curtains are wide open, just like everyday
And looking in the light
I know it all will start again, it's all the same

I wish I could go on
Alone with all my thoughts and feelings in a dream
But there's no end I know
It will not change, life will go on, no matter what

I wake up
Get ready for work
Stand under the shower
And think back to the night

But it's getting late
So I better get going
Run out the door
I'll have breakfast on the go

Through the glass door of the bakery
I see her and run

They're staring at me
Judgement in their eyes
Let me work from home, let me work alone
Time for a break, time to leave this place

Safe for now
Thinking back
But it goes on
More hours to come

The only thing
I can do
Is watch the clock
And wait

I can't stay here
Forever
It's time to go
Back to work

I have to face
The world again
But when I'm done
I'll go home and sleep
