The Grove

There's a place where I hope I will belong
Where you talk in words, not song
And you can speak what's on your mind
But there's a price, this place is hard to find
Evil surrounds it with lies, that try to claim your soul, your life
And sometimes when the evil lies, we find ourselves alone
And all the work we've done, the world will never know
But the people fight to save their lives
I think that that should show
That we'll be okay if we make it to the grove
From here I see that the sun shines on the leaves
Connected to a ring of trees, designed to keep the evil away
But around here, the people live in fear
But they fight when they hear the place they wanna be someday
And sometimes when the evil lies, we find ourselves alone
And all the work we've done, the world will never know
But the people fight to save their lives
I think that that should show
That we'll be okay if we make it to the grove
I'm sick and tired of hiding inside and always confiding in lies
They tell my friends and I day after day
We're losing our friends left and right
And man I know that the timing's tight
But we'll write our notes and make our way
So rally the troops and let's make all our moves
This might be crazy but we know what to do
Come on now we haven't got time to think through the plan
I know that you're usually skeptical dude
But don't you want to get on out of this mood
Be strong now we've got to lend out a helping hand
And we've lived our lives trusting evil lies, we'll never be alone
And though we've lost some friends, we'll ensure that the world knows
We must always fight to save our lives until we find that we
Can show the world that we've made it to the grove
