Pariah State

We were debating, having a conversation
Questioning why we are known as Snow flake generation
Easily offended and have issues with commitment
Can't stick to one thing no matter our best intentions
Be it careers or romantic relations
We get tangled in a web with an abundance of options
Tap to like, swipe right, didn't read the caption
Rather share your opinion than follow through with action
We are nomads in constant search of home
We've found it a couple times in the faces we have known
But we tend to drown it out with the noises from our phones
Until the battery dies and distractions are gone
Your thoughts, you finally hear them
Your insecurities, yeah that you finally feel them
These emotions, are what make you human
But perfect images on social media tend to ruin
Your image of self, you're hurting yourself by hating yourself
Love for yourself now that's spiritual wealth
Give a penny to your neighbor to invest in themselves
Gotta raise awareness of importance of mental health
The world is made of vibrations and this we know
Energies and frequencies always in constant flow
What you give is what you get and that's the way it goes
Help them to help you and you will never be alone
