Visual Poetry

There is comfort in the noise
Silence can be deadly
Left to wander in my own head
Left to replay all the memories
Though I was in love with not being alone
I wasn't in love with you anymore
And I know that it was for the best
But that didn't make it hurt any less

And now looking back I can see
You crafted this world to have me believe
That you were still mine
But really you just built those thoughts in my mind

It's not like what you said
But what my eyes could see
Just like visual poetry
You use your words to paint your lies
Drawing on the insecurities
That I held deep inside
But now I can finally see that it was all just visual poetry

How did I become so blind
How did I keep falling for your lies
You were never worth my time
And I was just the next in line
Now it looks like you're really trying
To work more on yourself
How did I keep putting myself
Through your living hell

And now looking back I can see
You crafted this world to have me believe
That you were still mine
But really you just built those thoughts in my mind

It's not like what you said
But what my eyes could see
Just like visual poetry
You use your words to paint your lies
Drawing on the insecurities
That I held deep inside
But now I can finally see that it was all just visual poetry

Visual poetry
Visual poetry

It's not like what you said
But what my eyes could see
Just like visual poetry
You use your words to paint your lies
Drawing on the insecurities
That I held deep inside
But now I can finally see that it was all just visual poetry

Visual poetry
Visual poetry
