The Willow

In the wood
I grew not fang
But branches
To the sea i rooted down

Here, where slow moon glints
The whitecaps, chewing

To be found below
Cocoon, it sows
Swaddled, churned: reprieve

Warm and known
So it goes
The anchor borne to nestle sways

Can i weave
With lungs of my own teeth
When the ring before
Bright green
Flashed stage
Without a moment's florid cease

Can i trust
A dime on my one eye
Splintered phase portend
Never know the need

To choose my sight
Bestowing fragile, stolen, broken ends

Here, where slow moon glints
The whitecaps, chewing
To be found below
Below
Echoes the
Willow

A storm laps raw
Confides its dreams alone
Alone
Echoes the
Willow
