Worth the Weight

It only took 53 hundred days
A pinch of salt, an ounce of luck
I hope that this was worth the wait

I've got more money than sense
But that doesnt mean much I can barely even pay for the rent
Although it leaks, at least for now, I've got a roof over my head
So I grind my teeth and I think about, how I wouldn't be here if you never left

It took me 15 years to get to here
And after each mistake I've ever made
Still had to pay, just with my time
There's some things in life that cash can't buy
Though I'm always broke I'm not broken
Knocked down but not knocked out
And the heavy rain left me soaked
But either way I'm not going anywhere

All outta luck but we got bags of faith and room to grow
At first I couldn't see but now you should know
That it's easy to swim but hard to see why it's so rough staying afloat
