These days grow dark
With saddest attempts
The world that we know
Doesn't always exist
We try so hard just to do our best
At the end of the road we can never except

Your ignorance is a slap to the face
Putting everyone down to get ahead in the race
If you showed some compassion for others instead
I take solace in the words that you have said

This world will try to bring you down
Whatever you do
You will make me proud
Turn this place around
Take it away from this shroud of hate
There is more to this life
