Mood Swing Revised

Last night we went out to have a good time
And a good time is what I thought we had
But all at once something went wrong
The smile on her face was gone
How could a night so good
Turn out so wrong

She's in a mood swing
Such a temperamental thing
One minute she's all sugar and spice
The next thing you know
She is cold as ice
Somewhere deep inside
Lives Dr. Jackal Mr. Hide
My babies in another mood swing

So I went out and bought Champaign and roses
And before that served breakfast in bed
Well she gave the rose a sniff
And the Champaign a little sip
Then poured what was left over my head

She's in a mood swing

Now I've tried to understand
Tame her emotions
Tried to figure it out
Know what's going on
She scares me half to death
Some times I lose my breath
It's like I'm living with a
Ticking time bomb
