Trapped in a cage of transparent crystal
I am like a mermaid craving the open seas
Not knowing whether this existence, where I see naught but shadow
Is infinite or inconstant

Vistas projected to me like in a kaleidoscope
Though its beauty flourishes high
The more I stare at it
The more it circulates and surrounds me
And the more its grace fades away for me

If I were to take one step
Towards the unknown shores
Would I be able to grasp freedom
Even if I too turn into sea-foam
And disappear completely?

Throwing away my scales
I want to bathe into the light of the first morning sun
That pierces through the night

One breath it took
To set all of time into motion
For me, filled with fresh air for the first time

Clad to the scents that invite the rain
Dancing to the sounds of the sky that call upon the wind
Coloured by the dyes of the entire universe around me
I come to a realization...

These eyes of mine, who had sunken
To the bottoms of unease and uncertainty
They were the ones that, without being able to look back
Nor see what laid in front of them
Let themselves be stagnated among the waves

Entrusting myself to the twilight
I will break apart
My crystal chains

For when I let time flow among the currents
Of the starry sky above me
Is when I begin to truly live

Even though I'm alone
It doesn't feel nearly as lonely
As I once were before...

The transient beams of the full moon
Dancing among the water's surface
They shine on my soul...

Forgetting my scales
I want to bathe into the moonlight
Projected by the glimmer that unfolds my world

One moment it took
For my dreams to flourish far and wide
And fill me to the brim
With life

玉瑛の籠の中
沖慕い 人魚「わたし」には
影しか見えない存在は
無限か無常か

風景の万華鏡
栄える美しさも
見れば見るほど
巡り巡れど
ただ蒼ざめて

知らぬ渚の方へ
一歩踏み出したら
泡となって 溶けちゃっても
自由になれるかな

夜明く 光放つ朝日に
浴びたい 鱗捨てて

時を刻み始め 一息
空気に満ち 人魚「わたし」

雨を招く香りと
風を呼ぶ空の音
万象の色に彩られた
私は気付く

不安の奥底に
沈まれたこの目は
振り返らぬ 前も見えず
波間に淀むだけ

黄昏に委ねて
玉瑛の鎖
今 砕いて

星空の流れに
時間流されて
生き始め

独りでいても
前と同じように
寂しくない

水明かりに揺れる
満月 儚く
魂「うろこ」照らせ...

世明く 光映す月光に
浴びたい 鱗忘れ

夢が盛り始め 一時
命に満ち 私
