What Now?

The dreamworld I had made so long ago has been so beautiful
Protected from the sun that pours its heart out in the summertime
Electric love is nothing but a bandage soaked in water
The wondrous sky with colors so bright swirled around my head in springtime
Amid some pointless dread of feeling tornadoes tear through window blinds
But away we sailed!
In loneliness, the moon came to my side

Volcanic walls rained Hell and darkness
Yellow light and sirens screaming
Absent minded thoughts
"It's all your fault, you're not okay, you won't escape
Go hide your face"
"Well fuck you!" I said in one-eyed madness
Tearing out the pages in the books of glowing seas
And memories, and hopeful feelings, and dishonesty
I didn't feel you next to me when I was wading angrily through city streets
And wondering just what it means to be

I know I've been living in dreams of gloomy moons at night
Away from life
I know I've been moving on through without the will to fight
To be by your side
And the clouds in my eyes may be growing
The thoughts held within overflowing
The streams once alive now are frozen
I've been lost inside the memories of your face
Will it fade away?
