Hawks

Can we go back to the minute we'd skirt through the rain?
Hanging, halting, suspended like hawks under planes
Can we say it's unending and I'll say the same?
Remind me when my mind, it starts to go

Everything was blurry but we were dry
Our hair blew in a hurry in the warring sky
But safe from everything we were

Can we go back to the minute we'd circle to land?
Ebbing graceful and careful like turns in the sand
When the thought of an ending was too much to stand
Remind me when my mind, it starts it go
Remind me when my mind, it starts it go
Remind me when my mind, it starts it go
