Peaches

Lemon yellow powdered jello
And things that floated in baths were the best
Oh, You remember the peach coloured sky
And the birds that flew by in their pink suits so high

Peaches were left in the sun
You had juice running down your arm
Sticky, but caused you no harm

Trees were watching
So tall they saw everything
We climbed up their branches and sang to the summer kings
They brought us down back onto the ground
We went walking through sunset towns in our silver nightgowns

Peaches were left in the sun
You had juice running down your arm
Sticky, but caused you no harm
