Snows of the Winter Realm

At the break of dawn
Travelling the sacred path
To the ancient forest
Within the realms of the Gods
Kneel before the great Alder
Cloaked in lichen
A life short by the sands of time
Yet vast by the wing of the moth
Eyes gilt like the equinox sun
Entranced by the sorcerer's dance
Mighty steed of Belenus
Star stallion of the other world
Let me hear your tread
Return this warrior to the land of the dead
Gallop upon the sun's rays
Paved with autumnal leaves
Over footsteps left behind in the glens, Rivers
The isles of the loch, on hilltops high
And lost into the hazy abyss
To a distant world from whence you came
To be greeted with roars of laughter
In the halls of mead
Where spirits gather around everlasting fires
Flame shadows dancing upon their faces
Telling tales of life and of death
Singing and chanting
In the vast lands of the mighty ones
The gods of the mountains, skies
The sun, the moon, the gods of all
The mother goddess, all ye gather here
In the lands of eternity, forever to see
The fires of Spring
The rites of Summer
The feasts of Autumn
Snows of the Winter realm
I worship at the altar of this sacred woodland
By rivers that run with Wolves endlessly
Beyond the gateway of Sorcery, magic, divinity
Gods of the wild, The woodland king, hear me ye all
Together we dance until the end of time
