Cold Turkey
I was once deprived of my right for sobriety
"Your head's not right son
Take them pills son" they said
Whilst, all in all I did not feel any less worse
Nor did I feel any better
In fact, I was in stagnancy
From that moment on
I dropped the pills
And decided to go...
Cold Turkey
At one point it got so bad
The tremors and visions of which I had
Trembles and quivers left me for dead
I thought I would die without my meds
I turned to music for my personal comfort
It was nice
How blessed I was
O' thank you lord for...
Cold Turkey
