Paint in the Cave

Craig was the biggest shithat I'd ever met, God knows I loved him to death
Georgia peach come to rot in the North West
He wore his heart on his sleeve cause there was none in his chest

He taught me, "You give what you need most"
Right before he slit my throat
Stole our car and the only girl I'd ever known
And headed down the coast

I came back as a vengeful spirit
Possessed that Dodge Dart and revved it
Wrapped it's nose around a telephone pole

Now he speaks in memes and movie scenes
About things that can't be unseen
And he paints in his cave about the things he would say
If the shadows would come and play
Away from their flames

But his fate was so unsatisfying
With remorse I spend each night hanging from his ceiling
And Craig finds some release
In the fact that someone is watching
