Night Bus

Was late one night, I was alone
Heading back from the kitchen, left my headphones at home
Was cold out and tired, under cloth
Walked fast just to miss the last station close to me

Night bus is the only option, out of circus
20 ride east, 24-hour service at least
I can look out the window
The night is over cascade
A count of stops, a spots of scenes along the way
Look up to where steel and glass cut the joining sky
Tile and jello strip lands, the monsters, I
Look down into hard pavements, to shops and the cars
Looked up again, where are all the stars?

Yellow water, purple spotted steel
I sit on top of the front in a psychedelic chair
The prophecies staring down a thousand yard stares
And I still love them
Does anybody loves me?
