Clothes

I can still feel the grass under my back it gently brushes our skin
Around us, on the floor, some empty bottles of beer
I remember that Kerouac book
I wished I could read not only his lines
But also what the fuck was going through his mind

Looking back to when we were kids
And our thoughts were as light as a feather
And those Morrissey songs carried our souls
To the sky and then back to the ground

I won't forget the nights we took off our clothes
And dived until the morning lights

We were so scared when we were young
We are still scared and we're still young
