Written Letters, Pt1

Latter rain, let it rain
Lord we've been waiting for your rain to pour on our face
Till we're flooded in your grace
But are we ready for the rain?
I mean what did we do with the first rain?
When You showered us in blessing till we were on fire for you
But it's like the fire just never grew
Instead we dampened the fire in a pool of comfort and complacency too
Two objects demons usually use to make us use the gifts you've given for to worldly use
Yeah I can sing but I just won't sing for You
Lord I'm so rude
Firstly, I wanna thank You for the fire I may have misused
I've established that God reigns
And I'm one of the trees He's planted
When it rains our cups overflow like a fountain
So why wouldn't we crown Him

I asked but ask again
Are we ready for the rain?
Did we bring baskets or buckets?
Cus a bucket can hold alot
But a basket won't hold enough
As water drips right out the box
The essense leaves, you're feeling lost
Feel rejected, feel unloved
Vision's blurry, You don't see God
Things going wrong
Raining cats and dogs
Just because
You used the wrong equipment for God's flood

I ask for a latter time I ask
Are we ready for the rain?
Are we ready for the pain that comes with the rain?
Cause when God gives us rain there are sacrifices to be made
We must carry this rain not only to church
But with us at home and work
This rain should help us in representing what we are aiming towards
Heaven of course
Are we ready for the latter rain?
Done
