Born an Outlaw

I was born an outlaw and I'm still one today
I've never changed the road I took, I'm really proud to say
I never cause no trouble, despite what people say
But I don't do things just because, it's always done that way

I know some folks get angry because they think I'm bad
And some folks even go as far, as saying that I'm mad
But if you look me in the eye and try to read my mind
Peace and love and friendship are all that you will find

I don't care what people do and I don't care what people say
I will live my life; they can go away
Why don't they try to see, my point of view
All these things I say, it isn't really new

I was born an outlaw, I'll alway be that way
I'll never change the road I'm on, no matter what you say
And if you really hate me, there's nothing I can do
But if you'll be my friend, then I'm a friend to you

I don't care what people do and I don't care what people say
I will live my life; they can go away
Why don't they try to see, my point of view
All those things I say, it isn't really new
