The Sunlight

After the longest winter
The sun rises like an angel
Upon the Earth reveals
Heaven was always here

The sunlight will dry off my tears
If I let the ground just hold me
To welcome the grace of the wind
To wash me of my wanderin'

I know there is no sin
I know there is no failure
I know this is no test
No refusing me to enter

Oh the sunlight makes it clear
And the moment passes soon
Will I take the step outside
To watch Eden as it blooms?

The bounty of endless enchantment
Swimming in the scent of summer
The buzzing and barking of family
Here to share this dream together

Under incomprehensible stars
My eyes they get to open
With the current of Earth in my skin
In paradise I somehow wakened

And I know that this is it
The Glory Hallelujah
That holds me as I am
This ground by which I stand

Oh the sunlight makes it clear
And the moment passes soon
Will I take the step outside
To watch Eden as it blooms?
