Intro

Recently I learned that opinions ain't facts
They'll be sharpening their knives while they pat you on the back
I learned God's plan is better than anything I imagine
And people think i'm crazy when they ask me how it happened
Now I say my blessings out loud like the girl beside me sneezed
I used to dream about the industry but it ain't what it seems
They dont care about your message they just care about your streams
So I stay posting on the internet but that ain't really me
I got so much on my plate that I can't eat right now
I lost my voice because I've been working I can't speak right now
But one thing about my mind, is that it just won't stop
And one thing about time, is that we dont get a lot

I guess this is the intro, it's supposed to set the tone
Yeah I rap but I might've chose different if i'd known
How this industry will change you, everybody wants the cash
I only make real music because that's the kind that will last
Sacrificed a lot of things, a lot of moments I won't get back
Performed on all these stages a lot of times I didn't get claps
But that's something I deal with in my subconscious
I love passing ones who doubted me because now that talk is gossip that's right

Oh Lord I know they mad the coldest rapper in the city
I'll get Rich or die trying but it'll happen before I'm 50
I never go around bragging, but they that I aint modest
Vegetarian, I never had beef unless you brought it
Young girl from the Ville I never had comfidence growing up
Life will knock you down but lately I've been hit with uppercuts
People talk about me but I can't listen to such and such
Because now my team is working and nobody can keep up with us

Lord knows, lord knows i've been all 10 toes
Tell my homies back in Knox give me 2 years and let me grow
Then after that it's really over, y'all gon' see that i'm a monster
Nothing stops me when im spitting unless the sentence has a comma
I see only 2 options I try or try again
They're like Daisha you ain't say you was this cold I kind of did
So I push myself to the limit to see how far that I can get
If I dont make it to the top at least they'll say I never quit
