Weighted Feelings

Lost in my mind,

These thoughts they buildup,

There's more inside,

A loss for words,

Most of the time,
Hiding hurt or hiding guilt,
I can't decide,
Crawling on my knees again,

It's hard to comprehend,

All I wanted was clarity,

But instead heres me,
Struggling with sincerity,

This pain it settles and taunts me,
My head is filled with dark thoughts,
When did they begin?

A weight that's pulling me around,

Got me feeling it on both ends,

Trying to get ahead,

I cry out in pain...

Because I tried my best,
But still such a mess,
My head is aching,
My heart is breaking,
My thoughts collide,
They're leaving me weightless,
And I hope to never feel this weight again...
