If We'll Believe

The heavens declare the glory of God
And the firmament show His handiwork
Day unto day utters speech
And night unto night shows knowledge
There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard
Their line has gone into the whole earth
And to the end of the world
In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun
Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber
Rejoicing like a strong man to run its race

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained
I think, what is a man that You are mindful of him
And the son of man that You visit him
For You have made him a little lower than the angels
And crowned him with glory and honor
And gave him dominion over the works of Your hands
And all that is in them
Yes, the sheep and oxen even the beasts of the field
The fowl of the air and the fish of the sea

So when I look around this big old world and ask myself what do I see
I resolve that there must be a God that created me
And that my life would be in vain if all I served was personal gain
And ignored the cross of Calvary
So I must share what I've found
That there's a loving God all around us and that He cares
For every one of you and me
So much that He sent His Son to die
That we might live eternally if we'll believe
He asks that we believe
If we'll believe
