Remember (The Prince of Peace)

I wander in a fallen world, my spirit all alone
As tyrants reign with blood and horror, earth begins to groan
The darkness rises round me, the demons that I cannot tame
And yet I hear a still small voice that's calling soft and tender
Remember

My people chose a starry flag to worship and adore
Refusing Shiloah's waters, they rejoice in making war
No refuge from the turmoil, while the dust flies and the blood rains down
But still the voice is calling, through the ash and falling ember
Remember

That you and I await the Prince of Peace, to heed his call
His kingdom is not of this world; and earthly kingdoms fall
Down before Him

Yes, I have known the Son of Man, and His celestial manner
Has taught me to salute no Caesar, bow before no banner
But help prepare the way before His coming in His splendor
Remember

So bid adieu to Babylon, he meekly asks of you
He heals your sins and sorrows, He will heal your anger too
If you let him

Remember
