The Sermon

You could be a king, you could be a queen
You could have written a great novel or be a big shot on the silver screen
You could be a poor woman or a poor man just like me
You could live every day you live like it's the last thing that's you'll see

Drink to everyone that you love
Drink to everyone that you hate
Drink to everything that you spent
Drink to everything that you saved
Drink to every time you wish that the man who came unstuck
Drank to all of your successes not to all of your bad luck

No one has a soul
There is no great unknown
And it'll all be gone before you know
No curtain call after the show
Just cells disintegrating
As the memory of you fades
And that is all there is to life in the end

Drink to everyone who has died
Drink to everyone who was born
Drink to all the world peace
Drink to all the world's war
And everything here on this hollow earth and everything out there in space
Drink to all of our directions just to get to the same place
