Sour

I don't seem to matter in many different ways
People have an issue, I wish they'd say
It's not like they're mean but they don't seem that keen
To have me around, say my name out loud, or be seen

Fighting the urge to say some words
That aren't very nice and contain much hurt
Assumption and proof are two different things
My mind has insecurities that hurt and sting, they sting

People get unhappy when they meet
Something they're used to, I feel the unease
You're tearing me down, over tedious frowns
And I feel the sour of your foul anger, over me

I love so hard with all my bones
And I stay loyal until I am thrown
That's my mistake, I guess you could say
But apathy, it just isn't me yeah, I believe

People get unhappy when they meet
Something they're used to, I feel the unease
You're tearing me down, over tedious frowns
And I feel the sour of your foul anger, over me

I'm something you're not used to,
I feel your unease
You're tearing me down, tearing me down, tearing me down
And I feel the sour of your foul anger, over me
