First of all I'm not the only one to feel this way I'm sure
And I'll keep my so called biases reserved- But I've
Got a proposition that I think you all should hear
About what we've been considering the best time of the year

I know my scrooge's disagree
From a misconstrued perspective maybe- I bet they've
Never been kissed underneath the mistletoe on Christmas eve
'Cause if they did, I'm positive
I know they wouldn't mind

Snow they've gotta blow off the driveway
Can we please forget the weather and just celebrate all year
Like December 26th doesn't exist

Think of all the things we could be doing realistically
If we ditch this ignorance and leave up the tree
The eggnog would never be outta season
There'd be every reason to smile
And say hey saint nick why ya leaving so quick sit back and relax for a while
