On wings of death beholden,
Searching for absolution
Lost memories of the final
Omen beckon
What was once unspoken
Has finally been unveiled
A cosmic page unfurling
In the ether
The abstract venom
Reaching for the true answer
The longest night is calling
Resigned to our own ruin
Fallen from this pedestal
With a forsaken heart
We can't turn back; we know that
We have failed
After all we've suffered;
Children for the slaughter
Self-righteous eyes are watching
With their lust for blood
As the vultures flock
Where my body rots
In the earth
I can't go where you're calling
The earth is warm where I lie
Too many times I've fallen
Unto that sleepless plight
That waking night that pulled me
Towards the beginning
And the ending that echoes forever
In my mind
Where I lie there's no more warmth
Voices calling out from beyond
Calling my name
My salvation lies
Forever severed nigh
In the ether
Where I lie the falling rain
Will soothe all that remains
All at once I am entombed in this
Cataclysm of despair
Forgetting and leaving
All that was dear to me
The abstract venom
