Melt

Picking up things I forgot
Like hope, art, speech, voice, lame, crawl, lay, ink, lead, hair, eyes and hands
Gliding through stone and log
With so much grace there is a trial of swans approaching mimicking my every move
I find a clearing in the trees
To set up camp in the damp evening and burn the fire with the fat of my love

Do like I do and I'm warning you
You will melt like wax on the forest floor of leaves and worms
Cuz you are quickly fading going gone

For the first time there is no vengeful fist
Just me and the swans learning how to love our crooked necks and living off of the fire
The riverbed reflects the sun
Shakes and glimmers vacant ideas of light in its natural state and this just fills my cup

I prefer to stay right here
And skim my heart of its pain and grow this love that I just gained in circles with my crooked neck

Do like I do and I'm warning you
You will melt like wax on the forest floor of leaves and worms
Cuz you are quickly fading going gone
And I ain't molded nothing yet but this song
