Prisoner

Sitting on the bench, me and myself
Planning out my future, planning my wealth
Thoughts on top of thoughts, stacking the shelf
Expressing it on paper, it's truly my help
Revealing true colors, didn't know how I felt
Checking out the scenery, it does well for my health
My heart used to freeze, but it's starting to melt
Cause I buckled down my feelings, yeah, it's strapped with a belt
Having a conference with my conscious
About confidence, taking no nonsense
And ever since, great consequence
No matter what, stay true, no con shit
A spiritual, lyrical genius
My word pistol the meanest, I mean this
Not your typical, mythical, like Venus
Proposed to my love for poetry, like a knee is
Do you want to be a prisoner or set yourself free?
Do you want to be a winner or lost mentally?
Do you want to stay grounded or sprout like a tree?
Do you want to be exhausted physically?
Word of advice
There is no competition
Fight the doubts in your head, don't give them your permission
Their mission is to drain all your dreams and ambition
But staying optimistic is the greatest ammunition
Do you want to be a prisoner or set yourself free?

I wanna be free
I wanna be free
