End of the Road

There's a guy here, folks call him Bobby G
He's last years next big thing
He's a ladies man, model on each hand
But he never, he never, he never really learned to sing

Now Sarah has grown old to our eyes
There's no more guys, her favorite hobby
She made a fortune man, in the movie trade
But she lost it all when she married Bobby

That's the end of the road
That's the end of the road
That's the end of the road
That's the end of the road

Jimmy see, is a gambling man
And Sarah, well she caught his eye
Bobby's rich and Sarah's cheap and easy
Jimmy looks and sees a perfect pair of fish to fry

Jimmy says "Sarah I love you babe"
"I guess you'll do" says Sarah
Together they hatch a cold evil plan
To get out of this rotten town forever. Yeah

The cops found Bobby G in a bloody mess
Jimmy armed to the teeth passed out beside him
As they took him in for murder one he thought
"God Damn what are the odds on that one?"

Sarah and her new found wealth they boarded a plane
Going very very very very far away
She'll disappear behind her innocent face
They picked the wrong girl's time to waste. Yeah

Sarah didn't know that Bobby and Jimmy were connected
Bobby's career or lack of was funded by the Mob
Sure Jimmy liked to place a few bets, but never with his own dough
The Mob caught up with Sarah, that's the end of the road, road, road. Yeah

Yeah
