Ninja Archer

Walking thru the forest like a ninja archer
So sly, so fly, dodging all the tricky tricks
Tip-toe as I go, got the know-how, to stay alive
Like a hawk in flight so swiftly
Like a tiger in the night so stealthy
Now you see me now you don't I'm a ninja
I'm a ninja archer

Some of the times I wonder if the things I hear are really true
I like things to add up, like 1 and 1 is 2
Unless of course we're talking about zeros, then it isn't
Here I go again I'm over, I'm over thinking it

I overheard the villagers and the topic of their whispers
Could I really be the one the ancients sages all referred to
Cuz the shoes are kinda huge to fill
The struggles real inside of me
There's a battle in my brain between
The hero and the fearful me

Hear the boing boing
What's going going on, hear the noises in the dark, question
Could I be the one, one
Fortold, that'll be the innocent citizens guard
Under this canopy, of bubble gum trees
Defusing anything dangerous

I was bewildered in a marsh of mediocrity
The shrieking doubts, darting about, the lies, flying, dive bombing
"Can't do this, You can't do that, can't tie your shoes, You can't do jack
Let it alone, you're not the one, your too young," that kinda stuff

I used to wonder, sit and ponder but those days are past
I ceased to bow to fear and all that goes along with that
No longer will I linger here procrastinating passively
I've embraced the torch passed to me
Owned up what I've been called to be
Full tilt, hello destiny

And when the Jungle fires came
Even Smokey didn't care about nothing but running
Yet who remained with their nerves of steal
Who extinguished all the flames
And went on to save the world as we know it

My hunch on a whim, is better than your best guess
I can forecast the wind and i know what the fox says
