We (Interlude)
If a friend tells you they're trans
You should treat them the same as always
I lost a friend when I was younger because I was trans
But I still have other friends
As a friend, if you could just be generally open to any ideas
That your friend has about their gender identity
To be a better friend, I would want them to ask me more
About what it's like to be trans, not tell other people
So, little kids and other people in general
Just stand up for other people if you see that they're getting bullied
Or made fun of. And if you're getting bullied or made fun of yourself
Ask a friend to like help or just like try to stand up for yourself
Because I think that it's important
That you don't let people bring you down
And you should just keep yourself up and stay in high hopes
