Fortified

There is a hole in the tale of a long lost soul,
It has no ending.
Left all alone by the faith he sold,
Found no profit in its existence,
Purchased by death in an instance.

He's tale was lost by the lack of context,
So it changed its line throughout the past.

Lived life relentless,
But hidden in darkness.

Nothing have stayed the same, he knew,
And then he realized what he loved wasn't true.

This is what he said

I've been tried so hard,
It fortified my heart.

I can't resist desires,
A thousand forest fires
Burns within my soul,
I could not move on.

Left behind my own consciousness,
I gazed upon the sky and found no one.

Ripped to shreds, held my breath,
I can't walk this road.
I have seen death...

I have seen death and caused a tremor,
Never ending cycle of this terror.
God wasn't present, he showed no effort,
Only sent an awful letter.

Can't stand being kicked around,
I haven't even made a sound.
Cutting wings of butterflies,
Man, you've got some guts.
